|Why are we introducing GreenShield?|
Moving to GreenShield as our prescription drug claims administrator is our first step to offering you more benefit services, your way. It’s the beginning of our journey towards ensuring:
1. Your eligible claims are reimbursed quickly and efficiently;
2. You spend as little time as possible out-of-pocket; and
3. When you have a question, you get the answer.
At WEBC, we take a member-first approach and provide you with benefit coverage and services to fit your needs. It’s why we’re moving our prescription drug administration from Canada Life to GreenShield on January 1, 2024.
With GreenShield as our new prescription drug administrator, you’ll have a new card and the same coverage you enjoy today. You’ll also get reimbursed for your prescription drug expenses in a way that’s most convenient for you:
While we’ll have a new administrator for prescription drugs starting in 2024, two things will stay the same:
You’ll receive a package from GreenShield. Inside it, you’ll find:
If you do not receive a package by the end of December, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You’ll present your new drug card, or provide your GreenShield ID, to your pharmacy or prescription drug provider.
Also beginning January 1, 2024, you’ll contact GreenShield at (604) 689-7184 (Option #2) to speak directly with a GreenShield agent, Monday through Friday (4:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. PST), when you have questions about:
