Peter Van Nen joins the WEBC with almost a decade experience across the public and private sectors, as well as non-profit. At WEBC, Peter leads and supports the Benefits Administration team in day-to-day operations, as well as supporting transformation initiatives. Previous to WEBC, he worked as an Operations Manager at a mid-sized insurer, focusing on benefits administration and he also brings previous unionized experience working within the Health Authorities as an Occupational Health Advisor.
Peter’s educational background includes a kinesiology degree from UBC, as well as his Masters of Business Administration with the Beedie School of Business at SFU. His leadership approach is to establish meaningful relationships and act as a nexus between his team and the member in achieving a shared ethos of success.
Peter lives in Port Moody with his wife, 3 kids, and their dog. He loves taking advantage of the many natural amenities Port Moody has to offer along with being an avid, albeit mediocre tennis player.
